Brazilian Waxing
Esthetic Studio Two provides private waxing rooms for our client's comfort.
Fresh towels are provided during every service. All supplies used are single-use only. We never double dip and follow strict methods for your health and safety.
Our estheticians will trim the hair to an ideal length. Before waxing, they will add a powder to prepare the area. They will remove hair with expert care until the area is smooth and soft.
Any stray hairs will be removed with sterilized tweezers after waxing. Lastly, our estheticians will apply a soothing after-care balm to calm any redness or irritation.

Waxing Tips
Customized and recommended for any age!
PLANNING YOUR WAX
Body/facial hair should be approximately 0.5-1 cm long before waxing. This is the ideal length for the wax to stick and the hair to come out easily. (When in doubt, leave your hair - we can always trim it for you!)
Do not shave the area being waxed for at least 14 days before you wax.
If you are on Accutane, waxing is not for you. If you have had a glycolic or a salicylic acid peel or are using Retinol or a similar product, on the area to be waxed, you will have to wait for 2 weeks before the area can be waxed.
Don’t schedule wax right before your period. Your skin is more sensitive during this time of your cycle. The best time to wax is at the beginning of your cycle, the first two weeks after your period.
DAYS BEFORE YOUR WAX
A couple of days before you wax, exfoliate the area that will be treated. Take a loofah or glove, add some body wash and with a circular motion, gently rub the area that is going to be waxed. This will remove dead skin, it will lift the hair off the skin allowing the wax to grip shorter hairs.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds 48 hr before and 24 hr after your appointment
For facial waxing, avoid chemical peels one week prior to any waxing treatment, as well as retinol use or any medication that exfoliate your skin.
THE DAY OF YOUR WAX
Take an Ibuprofen one hour before your appointment.
Do not apply moisturizer prior to your waxing treatment.
Please tell the technician your preferences of where and how much hair you want removed. Your esthetician can adjust the style to suit your wants and needs.
GENERAL TIPS
We recommend waxing every four to six weeks.
Do not shave between waxes! You should allow your hair to all grow at the same rate, plus it completely defeats the purpose of waxing.
